Confined Space Entry Training Program (for Entrant and Attendant)

Course Overview

The Confined Space Entry Training Program enables workers, attendants, and supervisors to understand safety protocols, learn procedures associated with procedures, and implement hazard safety as outlined by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146. The course will also cover permit systems, entry and rescue operations, and defining the roles of entrants and attendants.
During the program, learners will understand the law, pinpoint risks associated with confined space, and learn civil protective procedures to be compliant with industry emergency commands and the law.

Course Objectives / Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define confined spaces and permit-required confined spaces.
  • Identify risks such as toxic gases, oxygen deficiency, and engulfment.
  • Conduct atmospheric monitoring and evaluate the results.
  • Apply the Permit-to-Work System.
  • Specify the duties of entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors.
  • Choose and don effective personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct entry, work, and exit procedures.
  • Handle rescue and evacuation during emergencies.
