Course Overview

The purpose of this Emergency Exit Routes course is to outline how to prepare for, design, and keep safe exit routes during emergencies.
Well-placed, clear, and adequately maintained exit routes during a fire or explosion will save lives.
This training will prepare participants to understand compliant evacuation planning, perform and implement risk assessments, and execute the OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart E emergency exit routes and procedures standards.
Course participants will design and maintain safe egress systems, protecting or accounting for persons who need to evacuate and ensuring evacuation is done promptly and in good order.
